After he completed his law degree in 1995 at Georgia State University, he remained in the area where he serves the cities of Canton, Gainesville and Atlanta, along with the state of Georgia. Mr. Pope is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court and the 11th Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Pope's $2.8 million dollar verdict in Buice v. Coast Dental was listed in "Tope Georgia Verdicts of 2014" and noted as one of the largest verdicts in the State of Georgia. Pope made the same list in 2009 wtih his $1 million dollar verdict in Flippen v. AGL Resources.
