Hutchins PLLC in Manchester, New Hampshire, Peter E. Hutchins, is a dedicated personal injury attorney. He counsels and negotiates for clients in matters of car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accident, clergy and institutional sexual abuse and assault, slips-and-falls, wrongful death, products liability and dog attack injuries. Working for clients in Hillsborough, Merrimack, Belknap and Rockingham Counties, he is committed to representing his clients aggressively and ethically. In order to achieve the best possible results for his clients, Mr. Hutchins and his staff provide them with undivided attention and continuous communication. Having successfully settled most of his clients’ cases, he strives to seek favorable financial compensation through mediation, allowing them to avoid the anxiety and expense of trials. He also has extensive experience with trials, having tried over 60 cases before state and federal juries as well arguing over a dozen appeals to the New Hampshire Supreme Court. A New Hampshire native, he has practiced personal injury litigation in Manchester for 43 years, first with Wiggin & Nourie, PA and then opening his own firm in 2010. After graduating from Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, NH as valedictorian in 1976 and Dartmouth College cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in 1980, Mr. Hutchins proceeded to enroll at Boston College Law School for further legal studies. While at law school, he was an editor and contributor to the Boston College Law Review and was part of the Order of the Coif. He gained his Juris Doctor magna cum laude in 1983 and, in the same year, earned his license to practice in New Hampshire. Additionally, he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. In the legal community, Mr. Hutchins stays active through his membership in the New Hampshire Association for Justice, New Hampshire Bar Association and the Dartmouth Lawyers Association. He served as President of the New Hampshire Bar Association in 2001-02 and for over 20 years on the Bar's Board of Governors. He is also a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service and Continuing Legal Education Committee where he lectures other lawyers on topics of personal injury litigation, insurance law and civil procedure.
