Pierce is a partner with the Pierce, Pierce & Napolitano law firm in Salem, Massachusetts. Regarded as one of the leading workers' compensation attorneys in the nation, Mr. Pierce devotes the bulk of his practice on assisting injured and disabled workers with their initial workers' compensation claim filings as well as with appealing any denied claims. He also handles Social Security Disability claims along with serious personal injury cases arising from another party's negligence or wrongdoing. Throughout the course of his legal career spanning more than 45 years, Mr. Pierce has helped recover millions of dollars in total compensation and benefits for his plaintiff clients all across the state, but particularly in Essex, Middlesex, Suffolk and Norfolk counties. Whether dealing with workers' compensation, SSDI or personal injury claims, he delivers unmatched counsel and aggressive advocacy with the goal of helping his clients receive the full amount they deserve. A recognized authority in workers' compensation law, Mr. Pierce has written extensively and conducted numerous lectures and continuing legal education seminars across his region. He is also the former chairperson of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section as well as former member of its House of Delegates and Executive Management Board. Among his other professional affiliations, Mr. Pierce is an active member and leader of several local, state and national legal organizations and their workers' compensation sections and committees. He also served two governor's appointments with the Workers' Compensation Advisory Council beginning in 1995 and ending in 2003. Mr. Pierce graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, and he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1974 from Suffolk University Law School.
