Robinson devotes a significant portion of her practice to the representation of plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Her firm is located in Fairfield, and she provides aggressive and effective advocacy to clients throughout the state. Ms. Robinson has been admitted to practice before all Connecticut state courts since 1986. Ms. Robinson’s personal injury client base is made up of people who have incurred significant economic and noneconomic losses as a result of the negligence or recklessness of other persons or entities. The types of these cases that she has worked on during her distinguished career have arisen out of incidents involving medical malpractice, defective products, animal attacks, truck and other types of motor vehicle crashes, premises liability, and workplace injury accidents caused at least in part by nonemployer third parties. Along the way, Ms. Robinson’s clients have received millions of dollars in compensation due to her persuasiveness in arguing cases before juries and her tenacity at the negotiating table. In addition to her personal injury practice, Ms. Robinson is well-known for her representation of clients who were sexually abused when they were children by people who held positions of trust and authority. Among the defendants that she has gone up against are members of the clergy, athletic coaches, and teachers, and here too, she has been able to obtain justice as well as compensation for these clients. Ms. Robinson’s successful track record in all of these professional endeavors has earned her a great deal of acclaim from her colleagues, including a “Superb” peer review rating through Avvo, an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell, and an inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America. *AV®, AV Preeminent®, Martindale-Hubbell Distinguished and Martindale-Hubbell Notable are certification marks used under license in accordance with the Martindale-Hubbell certification procedures, standards and policies. Martindale-Hubbell® is the facilitator of a peer review rating process. Ratings reflect the anonymous opinions of members of the bar and the judiciary. Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Rating™ fall into two categories – legal ability and general ethical standards.
