Steckler stands as a defining force in complex civil litigation. Drawing on more than two decades of courtroom experience, he founded the firm with a singular mission: to build a practice where clients receive not only skilled legal advocacy but also genuine trust, personal attention and unwavering commitment to their goals. His breadth of practice reflects both his versatility and depth as a litigator. His areas of focus span class action and mass tort, complex business litigation, consumer law, first-party insurance, personal injury, wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, product liability and toxic torts. Mr. Steckler's results speak for themselves. In 2022, Texas Lawyer recognized him among the state's elite by honoring his $21 million jury verdict in a medical malpractice case as one of Texas' Top Verdicts of the Year, a testament to his tenacity and precision in the courtroom. Additionally, his credentials are equally impressive outside the courtroom. Licensed in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, New York and Pennsylvania, and admitted to practice before nine federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 9th Circuits, his reach extends well beyond state lines. An academic foundation is rooted in excellence; Mr. Steckler earned his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law in 1992, where he served as a leading articles editor for the Journal of Air Law and Commerce and sat on the Moot Court Board. Before law school, he graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University in 1989, where he also earned varsity letters as a member of the 1986 NESCAC Champion football team.
