Earning his bachelor’s in history from The University of the South, Mr. Hogsette went on to pursue his legal studies at the Charleston School of Law. He was also a member of the Maritime Law Bulletin and served as an intern for The Honorable Patrick Duffy at the United States District Court and The Honorable Irvin Condon at the South Carolina Probate Court. Obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2013, Mr. Hogsette was admitted to legal practice in South Carolina the same year. Over the years, he has garnered many accolades for his achievements in the legal field. He was crowned the Star of The Quarter by the South Carolina Bar’s Young Lawyers Division and listed in the Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers. He also holds a “Superb” rating on Avvo. Mr. Hogsette serves on the South Carolina Board of Govenors. He is a past president of the Florence Bar Association, a former ambassador of the South Carolina Bar Foundation, the 12th judicial circuit representative for the Young Lawyers Division of the South Carolina Bar, and an executive board member for the Florence Symphony Orchestra.
