Cartwright Jr. has spent more than four decades building a legacy defined by unwavering advocacy for those harmed by others' negligence or misconduct. Since founding the firm, he has assembled a team of skilled attorneys who share his commitment to protecting the rights of injury and accident victims, working collaboratively to secure justice for clients across a broad range of legal matters such as: Personal injury Products liability Auto accidents Wrongful death Premises liability Motorcycle, bike accidents pedestrian accidents brain injury serious personal injury Since entering the legal profession in 1982, Mr. Cartwright has built a career distinguished not only by courtroom success but also by the respect of his peers, culminating in his selection as the 2001 Trial Lawyer of the Year and recipient of the 2002 ORT Jurisprudence Award, alongside multiple finalist honors in California and San Francisco Trial Lawyer of the Year competitions. Mr. Cartwright’s leadership extends well beyond his own casework. He has served as president of the San Francisco Barristers Club, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California and the Western Trial Lawyers Association. He counts himself among the longest-serving members of the American Association for Justice and holds membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates, having earned Trial Lawyer of the Year finalist recognition at the local, state and national levels. Since 1996, he has also held the distinguished position of Honorary Consul General of Iceland in San Francisco.
