Woodard is the managing partner at Woodard Litigation & Mediation, in Memphis, Tennessee. An attorney, author and Tennessee Supreme Court-Designated Family Law Mediator, she focuses her practice exclusively on family and domestic relations law and Social Security Disability Appeals, providing clients with skilled representation during some of life’s most challenging moments. Ms. Woodard is highly regarded for her experience in high-asset and high-income divorces, contested divorces involving self-employed spouses, and complex custody and visitation disputes, including victories before the Tennessee Court of Appeals. She also handles child support, adoption, post-divorce matters and Social Security Disability cases, where she has helped clients recover hundreds of thousands of dollars in back-pay benefits. Known as a formidable and unwavering litigator, Ms. Woodard also excels as a mediator, empowering parties to create their own solutions and control the outcomes of their disputes. Beyond her practice, she is the author of “Tidbits on Tennessee Family Law: Your Introduction to Tennessee Family Law”, a first-of-its-kind client-centered guide that explains Tennessee family law topics ranging from divorce and child support to adoption and grandparent visitation. Ms. Woodard holds degrees from Christian Brothers University and Memphis Law, and she studied abroad at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, earning certifications in intercultural mediation and international arbitration.
