Biography
Attorney Pablo Galaviz is a partner with the law firm of Galaviz Legal LLC. Mr. Galaviz represents clients facing municipal, state and federal crimes, from simple traffic violations to homicide crimes, to include drug and complex white collar charges in the Waukesha and five county area surrounding Milwaukee.
Prior to working as a defense attorney, Mr. Galaviz worked as a prosecutor in the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office for 27 years handling all types of civil and criminal prosecutions. He tried over 170 cases to verdict and handled over 35 appellate cases. Although Mr. Galaviz currently focuses his practice on criminal defense matters, he and his partner also represent clients in a wide variety of other areas, including juvenile law, family law, landlord and tenant disputes, and probate law.
Mr. Galaviz began his legal career in 1990 after earning his law degree from Marquette Law School and his admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin. In addition to his approval to practice in all of Wisconsin’s state courts, he is also approved to practice in the Wisconsin U.S. Eastern District Court.
Mr. Galaviz is fluent in Spanish, and prior to actively pursuing justice for his clients, Mr. Galaviz served 8 years of active duty and 2 years of reserve duty in the United States Air Force.
