Biography

As the managing partner at Horowitz Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Adam Horowitz represents survivors of sexual abuse and assault throughout the country. His practice is committed to helping clients pursue justice and accountability against individuals and institutions responsible for causing harm. Mr. Horowitz represents victims in complex and emotionally sensitive matters, advocating for individuals who have suffered sexual abuse in schools, religious organizations and churches, youth programs, workplaces, cruise ships, and other institutional settings. He works closely with clients to guide them through every stage of the legal process while pursuing compensation and long-term protection of their rights and interests. Known for his compassionate approach and thorough preparation, he strives to provide steady counsel during difficult and highly personal circumstances. With extensive experience civil litigation and jury trials, Mr. Horowitz is dedicated to protecting the interests of abuse survivors and holding negligent organizations accountable. He emphasizes strategic advocacy, careful case preparation and client-focused representation in every matter he handles. Mr. Horowitz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude and with honors, from the University of Miami in 1996. He then obtained his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 2000. Licensed to practice law in Florida, Mr. Horowitz is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida; the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd, 11th and Federal Circuits; the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Tax Court. In addition, Mr. Horowitz is a member of the National Crime Victim Bar Association, the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association, the Dade County Bar Association and The Florida Bar.
