Biography
Alex is a member of Shaheen & Gordon's personal injury practice, representing individuals who have suffered serious and often life-altering injuries due to someone else's negligence. As an advocate for justice both in and out of the courtroom, he also proudly serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
Alex brings significant experience to every case he handles, having represented individuals in a wide range of matters, including motor vehicle accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, dog bites, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases.
He draws on that experience to help clients understand their case, making sure they feel confident and comfortable as he guides them through a challenging process — because what matters most, he believes, is helping people get back to living their best life after an accident. He pairs that compassion with an aggressive, efficient, and detailed approach that has produced many successful outcomes, earning him recognition from Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers for his work in personal injury law.
Before focusing on personal injury matters, Alex handled trial work of all kinds in the courts of Maine and New Hampshire, including representing local businesses in litigation and individuals facing criminal charges. That trial background means he's always ready to take a personal injury case to court if a fair settlement can't be reached.
A Maine native, Alex is a graduate of the University of Vermont and the University of Maine School of Law.
