Born to immigrant parents from Guangxi, China, Allen’s father epitomized the spirit of hard work. His journey from China to Taiwan and eventually to the United States, armed with only $200 and the ambition for a better life, deeply influenced Allen’s career path and values. Raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Allen grew up understanding the value of education and the relentless pursuit of opportunity. Allen holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree, which set the foundation for his varied career before law school. He worked as an auditor for a major bank and as a financial analyst in Salt Lake City, Utah. After earning his law degree, Allen completed a clerkship with a United States Magistrate Judge, gaining significant federal court experience. His extensive professional background includes roles as staff counsel for a major insurance carrier, in-house counsel for a transportation company, and work at a multinational firm, providing him with a profound understanding of both client needs and complex litigation processes.
