Biography
Amanda Stone is a Sacramento attorney whose practice is informed by a strong background in family, criminal, and constitutional law, as well as public-sector compliance and advocacy. She graduated from McGeorge School of Law in 2024 with a concentration in Trial & Appellate Advocacy.
Her path to law school was unconventional: she overcame significant personal challenges to return to school, complete her degree, and pursue law. That experience drives her commitment to helping clients and community members navigating similar obstacles.
Amanda has handled a wide range of family law matters, including child custody disputes, allegations of and defense against domestic violence, property division, and spousal and child support requests. She has completed multiple trials in her first year of practice. Amanda has a client-centered approach, advocating fiercely for her clients’ interests inside and outside the courtroom, and providing straight-forward advice to her clients to help them achieve their goals in the litigation.
Prior to joining Baron Family Law, Amanda served in a volunteer-attorney role with the Sacramento Justice League, offering free and low-cost family law services to those who could not otherwise afford an attorney, continuing her law school goal of helping others navigate the system in the face of significant challenges. Amanda has a strong commitment to providing pro bono legal services throughout her career.
In her spare time, Amanda loves watching Giants baseball (especially in person at Oracle Park), is an avid reader, and spends a lot of time at the beach (often reading or streaming the ball game).
