Andrea Friedman

Andrea B. Friedman is a family law attorney with over fifteen years of experience handling complex matrimonial and family law cases. As a partner at Friedman & Friedman PLLC, Attorneys at Law, she is known for her strategic advocacy and compassionate care. Ms. Friedman began her legal career in after earning her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and a B.A. from George Washington University. She joined the firm as an associate and became a partner in 2014, recognized for her leadership and dedication to clients. Working alongside Sari M. Friedman, she handles all aspects of family law, bringing preparation, insight, and commitment to every case. Over the years, Ms. Friedman has received numerous honors for her professional excellence, including being named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers several years in a row and one of New York Magazine’s Women Leaders in the Law and Marquis Who’s Who. She was also recognized with the “Emerging Leader” Award by Hofstra University’s Outstanding Women in Law program. Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Friedman is active in the legal community. She served as State Director for the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) on behalf of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association (WWBA), is an active member of the WWBA Board and participates in several WWBA committees including the matrimonial committee and collaborative committee She is also a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals (NYACP). A frequent lecturer, Ms. Friedman presents on family law topics for legal education programs and academic institutions, including Hofstra University School of Law, the Marino Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and Westchester Women’s Bar Association CLEs. Ms. Friedman has also been published in the New York Law Journal. Ms. Friedman remains committed to helping clients find clarity and resolution during life’s most challenging transitions, with the reassurance that even the most difficult times will pass.
