Ann Groninger

A partner with Johnson & Groninger PLLC, Ann Groninger represents clients in the Charlotte, North Carolina, metropolitan area and throughout the state. Her practice focus is on personal injury, including bicycle crashes, and civil litigation and trials. Named one of the Best Lawyers in America, she was also a grant recipient from the Tulane University Law School Public Interest Law Foundation. Ms. Groninger attended Michigan State University, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Arts. At Tulane University Law School, she graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctor and was an editor for the Tulane Environmental Law Journal. She now teaches seminars and classes for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and the North Carolina Bicycle Summit. A member of the American Association for Justice, Ms. Groninger is also a member of the Western District of North Carolina Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Within the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, she serves on the Board of Governors, the Employment Section and the Criminal Section. She is Past Chair for the Employment Continuing Legal Education Section of the North Carolina Bar Association. Admitted to practice in the state of North Carolina, Ms. Groninger has over 25 years of experience fighting for those who have been injured. She is also passionate about volunteering and community service and is a member of the League of American Bicyclists and the Charlotte Area Bicycle Association as well as a former coach of the High School Mock Trial Team.
