Biography

At 8 inches tall and 38 inches long, Axl Adelman, Esq. is 90% body, 10% attitude, and 100% ready to chase justice. Axl Adelman, Esq. is the wiener dog the legal world didn’t see coming—mostly because he was already halfway across the yard. With a deep personal connection to the art of the chase, Axl has carved out a niche as the leading Pawyer in Pursuit Law, defending dogs’ rights to run, be chased, and not be unfairly penalized for spontaneous zooming. A graduate of Chicago Hotdogton Law School, Axl has litigated some of the most heated cases in canine recreation, including the landmark Chaserton v. Backyard Karen, which protected the right to off-leash sprints under safe and mutually excited conditions. Axl believes the thrill of the chase is a fundamental joy—and a legal right worth defending. His legal arguments are fast, focused, and just a little wiggly in the back half. When he’s not in court, Axl enjoys escape artistry, long stretches in sunbeams, wearing hats and fedoras, and initiating dramatic sprints for no apparent reason. Wrongfully scolded mid-zoom? Call Axl for the improper accusation that you as a wiener dog have somehow ruined your owner’s zoom. He runs toward the problem—then in a circle—then solves it.
