Too often schools fail to meet the needs of children with disabilities, and they fall through the cracks. Unfortunately, too many of these children are never provided the opportunity to make up the educational benefits they have lost. And the children continue to lag behind their peers. If your child’s school has failed to provide them an appropriate education as promised under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), attorney Molly Watson could represent you in a special education due process case before the Office of Administrative Hearings, which is the quasi-judicial agency that hears such cases in California. Attorney Molly Watson could also help you understand special education due process and help you in filing a complaint and work to resolve the matter or go to hearing if the matter is not settled.
In addition to representing families in due process matters, we are available to attend IEP meetings and to file complaints in federal district court regarding disability discrimination relating to a student’s special education.
