Biography
Cliff believes in a team-oriented environment, one where Horwitz firm lawyers have the resources, support, time, and freedom to do what's best for injured clients. The firm's strategy is to place highly skilled, experienced lawyers in trial roles, position them where they're strongest, and pair them with colleagues who complement those strengths — much like assembling a football, basketball, or hockey team by putting each player's best attributes to work.
A structured and detail-oriented trial lawyer, Cliff has invested heavily in technology to give clients the highest level of efficiency. The firm's systems are entirely paperless, running on some of the fastest, highest-quality computer technology available. And unlike firms that focus solely on workers' compensation claims, Horwitz, Horwitz & Associates maintains separate departments concentrating on different areas of law — many of the firm's Chicago workers' compensation lawyers bring over 25 years of experience to resolving cases.
When a company other than the employer shares legal responsibility for an injury, the firm's third-party department steps in to handle that portion of the case. Rather than referring it out to another firm, Horwitz builds a comprehensive legal strategy from day one, designed to maximize each client's financial recovery. A graduate of New Trier High School, the University of Florida, and Loyola University School of Law, Cliff was born and still lives in Chicago, where the two most important things in his life are his family and representing the injured.
