BA – Pennsylvania State UniversityJD – Fordham University School of Law Cyd’s passion for public service has provided her with great satisfaction in representing children and elders, as well as victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. Cyd joined Gersowitz Libo & Korek P.C. as an Associate after serving the people of the State of New York for three years as an Assistant District Attorney at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. At Gersowitz Libo & Korek P.C., Cyd focuses on medical malpractice cases and handles personal injury cases. She works on cases from investigation to trial. While at Gersowitz Libo & Korek P.C., Cyd was honored to have been asked by Judge Anthony Cannataro, Associate Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals, New York State’s highest Court, to serve as one of the Judge’s law clerks. During Cyd’s clerkship, she honed her legal research and writing skills and gained valuable experience and insight into the important work of the Court. She worked on both civil and criminal appeals and attended the Court’s monthly sessions in New York State’s capital, Albany, NY.
