Biography
Before I became a lawyer, I was a battalion Legal Chief in the United States Marine Corps. The same principles and values that made me a leader in the Marine Corps make me an excellent attorney. I am driven and dedicated to my clients and strive to achieve the best possible results for them.
I founded my Springfield, Illinois, law firm — WAY LAW OFFICES, LLC — in 1992 with one goal in mind: providing legal help to people who needed an attorney who would truly advocate for them. I handle a wide range of legal matters, including adoptions, wills and probate, estate planning, real estate, personal injury and workers' compensation matters.
I give my full attention to every detail in each case I handle. I review all the facts, conduct extensive research on the laws and draft persuasive legal documents that get the best possible results for my clients. This approach has helped me achieve a history of successful outcomes in matters including adoptions, guardianships, Wills, probate and estate planning, personal injury and other civil matters.
I am dedicated to doing the best for my clients. When you work with me, you can expect a lawyer who:
is completely honest regarding both the positive and negative aspects of your case
