Biography

Dave Eltringham is a seasoned personal injury attorney and the founder and CEO of ELG Injury Lawyers, a firm known for client-centered advocacy, deep trial expertise, and a health-first approach to personal injury representation. Dave Eltringham became a personal injury lawyer long before he ever became a personal injury client. For years, he represented people whose lives were changed in an instant by crashes, unsafe companies, careless decisions, and insurance companies that treated human suffering like a math problem. Then, in 2019, Dave experienced injury from the other side. He became seriously ill and, for a long time, no one could tell him why. His symptoms were frightening and confusing. His body was failing, his mind was not working the way it should, and he was even misdiagnosed before doctors discovered the cause: toxic mold poisoning from hidden black mold in his office ceiling. By the time it was found, he had suffered a collapsed lung and a severe brain injury. Today, Dave does not just see an injured client as a case. He sees someone whose life has been interrupted. He understands the fear, frustration, uncertainty, and loneliness that can come with serious injury. That is why his mission is not only to win cases, but to help clients feel heard, protected, and supported as they rebuild their lives. Dave’s path is distinctive because it blends professional skill with personal insight. He’s not just someone who studies injury law; he’s someone who’s lived it. A severe personal injury early in his life changed his perspective, sharpening his understanding of what victims really endure physically, emotionally, and financially.
