David Galbavy

I’m David Galbavy, and I started Galbavy Law with one simple mission: to give injured people and families across North Carolina a fair shot at justice. I know how overwhelming the legal system can feel, and that’s why I built this firm to be personal, not corporate. When you hire my firm, you work directly with me - a lawyer who listens, cares, and fights to get what you deserve. I grew up in a small town in coastal South Carolina and have spent my entire professional career here in North Carolina. My career began as an insurance defense attorney, where I represented both insurance companies and large employers. During that time, I gained invaluable experience in how injury claims are handled, how they are defended, and how they are valued. In 2017, I decided to use that experience to help the people who were injured. I joined a large plaintiff’s firm in Charlotte, where I developed a deep passion for helping people from all backgrounds and all walks of life. Now, I’ve taken everything I’ve learned and combined it into the ultimate client experience at Galbavy Law, where clients come first. I strive to connect personally with each client, not just to help them receive the best possible outcome, but also to help them recover from unexpected and life-changing injuries. My goal with every client is to educate them about the system, maximize their recovery, and put them in a position to make good decisions about their future. Every client and every case is different, and my job is to find out what works best for each individual, and then deliver. I grew up surrounded by hardworking people who put everything on the line to provide for their families, often at the expense of their own health. When I represented insurance companies, it opened my eyes to something troubling: too often, the very people I grew up around were overlooked or taken advantage of when they were injured.
