Biography
Edna Y. Baugh, Esq. is a highly accomplished attorney with decades of experience in real estate law, real property tax appeals, and the representation of non-profit organizations. As Of Counsel at Bost Legal Group, Ms. Baugh brings a deep understanding of both legal strategy and organizational operations, offering clients steady guidance in matters requiring precision, professionalism, and sound judgment.
Ms. Baugh has devoted her career to serving clients and institutions in roles spanning private practice, municipal government, and legal education. Her practice has consistently included transactional real estate, real property tax assessment matters, and advising non-profit corporations on issues such as contract negotiation and review, organizational governance, and conflict resolution.
In addition to her private practice background, Ms. Baugh held a major public leadership position as Superintendent of Elections and Commissioner of Registration for Essex County, New Jersey, where she oversaw all aspects of election administration.
Ms. Baugh also spent more than a decade at Rutgers School of Law as Assistant Director for Clinic Administration, supporting the Director and Deputy Director of Clinical Programs and managing the administrative operations of the Law School clinics. Her responsibilities included overseeing law office systems, case management, conflict checks, record retention, client accounts, and clinic budget accounts. During this period, she also taught Real Estate Transactions.
Ms. Baugh’s career reflects an exceptional commitment to professional leadership and ethics in the practice of law. As a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, she served in leadership roles, and served as President of the Garden State Bar Association. She also held distinguished appointments within the New Jersey Supreme Court system, including service on the New Jersey Supreme Court District V-B Ethics Committee, and long-term service on the New Jersey Supreme Court Disciplinary Review Board, where she served as Vice Chair.
