Biography

Founder and managing partner, Eric Esshaki has experience representing clients on a broad variety of complex commercial litigation matters including shareholder disputes, employment and labor law, banking and finance, constitutional litigation, real estate, and white-collar investigations and defense. Heather Esshaki joined Esshaki Legal in 2021. She has over 5 years of paralegal experience where she worked on a wide range of issues, including municipal and business law. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wayne State University where she graduated magna cum laude. Edward Olson brings decades of legal expertise to Esshaki Legal. A lifelong Michigander, he is a seasoned attorney admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1985, with a career spanning both in-house and private-practice leadership. His practice covers commercial litigation, corporate planning, estate planning, securities matters (including arbitration), contracts, employment, real estate, and bankruptcy. Manny Dhaliwal’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, business disputes, financial institution matters, employment law, and real estate litigation, guiding clients through every stage of the litigation process with practical, strategic solutions aligned to their business goals. Robert K. Siegel has substantial experience in civil litigation, bankruptcy law and condominium and community association law. Rob has litigated cases in the Michigan District and Circuit Courts, the United States Bankruptcy Court and the United States District Court; and has successfully argued in the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. He takes great pride in rapidly ascertaining the fundamental facts and legal issues affecting his clients, using his business and legal education to craft a high-quality written work product and creatively determining the best strategy for them.
