He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant ‘Colonel in the United States Army Individual Mobilization Augmentation (IMA) force. Mr. Jones received a B.A. in Political Science from Alcorn State University, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from The University of Alabama School of Law, and he completed post-graduate coursework in Human Resource Management and Education at Boston University. While attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. Jones served as a two-term Class Senator, Student Bar Association, and he received the Law Dean’s Award. Mr. Jones also received both the prestigious National Bar Association Fellowship and the Earl Warren Legal Fellowship.
