The firm traces its roots to 2005, when founder Erik Weingold began preparing PPMs under the PPM LAWYERS name. In 2015, it was formalized as Weingold Law PLLC, now operating as PPM LAWYERS. Since then, the firm has worked with hundreds of clients across all industries and sectors, preparing well over 500 PPMs and documenting more than $1 billion in capital raises nationwide. Erik Weingold has been practicing securities law since 1995 and has been drafting Private Placement Memorandums since 1998. His career spans both sides of the transactional table: as an attorney advising companies through the complexities of raising capital, and as an entrepreneur who has lived the experience of building a business from the ground up.
