Biography
Fred Schultz is a partner in Greene & Schultz Trial Lawyers located in Bloomington, Indiana. His primary focus is on clients who have suffered personal injury or wrongful death caused by the negligence or recklessness of another. Mr. Schultz has represented clients in a wide range of cases in both state and federal courts, including medical malpractice; automobile, boating and motorcycle accidents; nursing home abuse; and premises liability.
Mr. Schultz earned his law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Prior to law school, he graduated with honors from Butler University with a Bachelor of Science in economics. Before entering private practice, Mr. Schultz was a deputy prosecuting attorney with the Prosecutor's Office of Greene County, Indiana. He is licensed to practice law in Indiana and before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Nebraska and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Mr. Schultz is also licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 7th and 9th Circuits.
Certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification, Mr. Schultz is held in high esteem by his peers. He has been given the AV-Preeminent* rating by Martindale-Hubbell and is a past recipient of the F. Scott Baldwin Award from the American Association for Justice.
Outside the courtroom, Mr. Schultz participates in professional organizations and shares his knowledge and insight with others through seminars and lectures. He is a member of the Indiana and Monroe County bar associations, the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
