Molly Watson has assisted various families with special education cases in Fresno to obtain appropriate supports for their loved one with special needs. You will work directly with attorney Molly Watson, who will give you individualized advice each step along the way. She will help you better understand your legal options for obtaining an appropriate education for your child to meet their unique needs in the least restrictive environment. Communication is highly encouraged and the firm stays in touch with clients on a regular basis by email and telephone.
We provide students and their parents special education due process representation before the Office of Administrative Hearings, which is a quasi-judicial agency that handles administrative law cases, including special education matters.
We start with an educational record review to determine the best course of action to resolve the disagreement you have with your child's school. In some instances, we may advise you that the best course of action will be to try to resolve the problem at an IEP meeting. More often, we may advise you that Mrs. Watson should file a due process hearing request on your child's behalf. Through this process we will work with you to resolve the matter.
