Biography

George J. Skuros has spent more than three decades guiding clients through some of the most personal and disruptive legal problems a family can face. He represents individuals in divorce and family law matters, bringing a steady, practical style to cases that often carry both financial and emotional weight. His approach centers on keeping clients informed and helping them make sound decisions at each stage of the process. His practice covers a wide range of domestic relations and related legal issues. In addition to divorce, he handles disputes involving parental responsibilities, parenting time, child support, spousal maintenance, post-decree modifications, paternity, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. He also works on guardianship matters involving both minors and disabled adults, as well as probate-related concerns such as wills, powers of attorney, and intestate property issues. George maintains active involvement in the Illinois State Bar Association, including its Child Law, Family Law, and Senior Lawyer Sections. Those professional ties reflect a career built not only on experience but on ongoing engagement with the areas of law that shape his practice every day. Clients who meet with George find an attorney who values clarity, responsiveness, and thoughtful advocacy both in and out of the courtroom.
