George P. Patterson

George Patterson is a nationally recognized truck accident attorney.  He is a member of the Board of Regents of the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys and is Board Certified in truck accident law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He serves as a co-chair of the ATAA safety committee and has presented to Senators and Congressmen on truck safety legislation.  He is also certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in civil practice and civil trial law.  George P. Patterson has been representing personal injury victims for nearly three decades now. Serving clients from Patterson Law, LLC, in Annapolis, Maryland, he handles cases in the likes of trucking accidents and other motor accidents. Deeply believing that his work not only changes his client’s life but also inspires people and companies, he relentlessly works toward making justice accessible.  He lectures about truck accident law to accident reconstruction teams, prosecutors, law students, and personal injury attorneys across the nation. After graduating from DePauw University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and philosophy, Mr. Patterson pursued his law degree at The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. At law school he was an active contributor to the Catholic University Law Review as a note and comment editor. He also received the American Jurisprudence Award for Contract Law. In 1996, he earned his Juris Doctor and admission to practice in Maryland. Additionally, he holds a license to practice in Washington D.C. and is admitted to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. As a person who has closely watched a loved one go through a personal injury proceeding, Mr. Patterson is empathetic and understanding toward his clients. He prioritizes their goals and ensures that the outcome meets it. He has tried several cases to verdict and received multimillion-dollar settlements for his clients. This includes several wrongful death truck accident cases and dozens of wrongful death car accident cases.
