When your freedom, reputation, or future is on the line, experience isn’t optional—it’s everything. Attorney Eugene “Gino” Fimbianti brings a rare, formidable advantage to every case: a career built on all sides of the justice system.
With more than 35 years of combined experience in law enforcement and legal practice, Mr. Fimbianti is not just a defense attorney—he is a strategist who understands how cases are built, prosecuted, and won.
Mr. Fimbianti began his career as a police officer in 1990, serving as a patrol officer, tactical officer, and detective. Over the course of his law enforcement career, he earned more than 20 commendations and developed specialized expertise as a field training officer, juvenile officer, street gang specialist, defensive tactics instructor, firearms instructor, evidence technician and accident investigator.
This hands-on experience gives him a deep, tactical understanding of police procedures, investigations, and the critical mistakes that can make or break a case.
After earning his law degree from DePaul University College of Law, he served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Will County, where he prosecuted serious felony offenses including murder, robbery, narcotics crimes, and DUI cases.
