Biography

Following an illustrious 29-year career at the University of Georgia School of Law Gregory L. Roseboro joined Mabra Law as of counsel in 2023. The former assistant dean for admissions, diversity and inclusion & strategic initiatives, Greg joined the law school faculty in 1994 as assistant director of admissions, student affairs and legal career services. He was promoted to associate director in 2000 and in 2015 assumed leadership of the law school’s admissions process for the Juris Doctor and graduate programs. His work in the area of diversity and inclusion involved liaising with faculty, staff, students and alumni relating to academic support, recruitment and community outreach. During his three-decade tenure at UGA, Greg guided or mentored nearly 6,000 law students, many of whom would become Georgia legal leaders, including Mabra Law’s own Ronnie Mabra and Jarrod Burch Additionally, Greg advised the Davenport-Benham Black Law Students Association, the Asian Law Students Association, the Hispanic Law Students Association and the Outlaws student organization. He continues to serve the law school as adjunct faculty, teaching “Race and Law,” offered in the Fall. Prior to his academic career, Greg represented personal injury plaintiffs in private practice in Athens, after a five-year stint as a settlement negotiator for two insurance giants.
