Biography
Philip Grossman brings more than 35 years of legal experience to his role as senior partner at the Louisville law firm of Grossman Green PLLC. His passion lies in representing clients who have suffered serious and catastrophic personal injuries — most often victims and families coping with brain injuries, paralysis, fractures, spine injuries, and wrongful death.
Philip's career has earned him numerous distinctions. He has been named a Top Attorney in Kentucky by Kentucky Magazine and a Top Lawyer by Louisville Magazine, and he has been selected for inclusion in Kentucky Super Lawyers every year since 2007. He holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, reflecting his track record of securing numerous million-dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements for his clients.
Philip served as President of the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA) in 2018 — the leading organization for Kentucky plaintiffs' trial lawyers dedicated to improving the quality of legal representation for injury victims and their families across the state. Two decades earlier, in 1996, he served as President of the Louisville Bar Association, the largest voluntary bar association for lawyers in Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky. He is also the founder and master of the Louis D. Brandeis American Inn of Court, and remains a frequent speaker at seminars covering medical negligence, spine and brain injury, auto and truck cases, and trial practice.
