Specialties: Misrepresentation of Treats (GIBS), Emotional Support Animal Law, Herding Law
Hamish is a legal powerhouse packed into a loaf-sized frame. Specializing in pawsonal injury, leash law, sidewalk space disputes, and herding law. While Hamish is fierce in the courtroom, he has a soft side as licensed emotional support dog. Hamish knows when to turn on and off the charm to make opposing counsel GIB all treats for his clients. Hamish is well known for the landmark case Sit v. Milk Bone, which upheld the right to “reasonable and expected reward following basic obedience.” Dogs nationally have hailed this decision as a major right they were missing out on prior to this landmark ruling requiring all dogs to receive GIB treats for even sitting. Conservative cats have tried to introduce legislation to deprive dogs of their GIB but Hamish goes around the country lobbying on behalf of the rights of dogs and GIB.
Born in Montana and now a pawyer based in Chicago, Hamish blends small-town tenacity with big-city bite. When he’s off duty, Hamish keeps his mind sharp and his legs quick by playing soccer along Lake Michigan—where he’s known for his impeccable footwork and relentless defense. A devoted fan of the Chicago Bears and Leicester City Football Club, he’s as passionate about the pitch as he is about the law. Being an avid Bears’ fan he strongly detests the Green Bay Pawckers.
