Ian Fitzgerald King

The founder of King Law in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ian Fitzgerald King is a criminal defense attorney representing clients in the New Mexico metro area and the surrounding regions. A cum laude graduate of The University of New Mexico, Mr. King obtained his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2002. He completed his legal education at The University of New Mexico School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2005. He is licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts of New Mexico. Prior to forming his own law firm, Mr. King worked as an assistant district attorney for Bernalillo County. As a testament to Mr. King’s professionalism and vast legal acumen, the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys listed him in the Top 10 Criminal Defense Attorneys Under 40 in 2016 and 2017. He is a recipient of the Readers’ Choice Award by the Albuquerque Journal and the Client Satisfaction Award by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.
