Jack Davis is an Associate Attorney at Kershaw Talley Barlow, where he represents individuals in complex class action, mass tort, and personal injury cases. Jack is committed to helping people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, often standing up to powerful corporations or government institutions on their behalf.
Jack brings exceptional legal research, writing, and advocacy skills to the firm; skills sharpened through years of public service and high-level legal experience. He served as a judicial law clerk for a United States District Judge in the District of Nevada, where he authored court opinions and gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making. Earlier in his career, Jack worked at an employment and whistleblower law firm in Washington, D.C., and drafted legislation for the Nevada Legislature, much of which became state law.
A cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, Jack served as a Note and Comment Editor of the Minnesota Law Review. He taught legal writing to first-year students and earned a reputation for clarity, rigor, and mentorship—qualities he continues to bring to his work at KTB.
Originally from Buffalo, Minnesota, Jack moved west during college, attending Deep Springs College near Bishop, California, a unique, service-oriented institution combining rigorous academics with hands-on ranch work. He now lives in Sacramento with his wife, where they enjoy hiking in the Sierra Nevada and supporting the local arts and music community. Jack is licensed to practice law in California, Nevada, and Minnesota.
