In 2017, he rejoined Cowan & Hilgeman and assumed leadership of the firm's tort practice. He is admitted to practice in Ohio and California, as well as before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Ninth Circuits, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern District of California and the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Jack's work has earned recognition from regional and national publications. He is a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a distinction limited to fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers. He holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell—the highest level of professional excellence—and has been named to America's Top 100 High Stakes Litigators, The National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, and Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers.
