Biography
James is relentlessly focused on identifying, exposing, and remedying dangerous products and corporate practices. His work spans catastrophic injury claims, including landmark litigation against a publicly traded corporation caught poisoning local communities with a known carcinogen.
Beyond zealously representing his clients, James serves as Co-Chair of the Georgia Bar Young Lawyers' Division Disaster Legal Assistance Committee, leading the state's legal community in responding to natural disasters and providing pro bono legal services.

James’s work has helped save millions of Americans from toxic exposure. In addition to representing those catastrophically injured, James maintains an active pro bono practice through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. James also participates annually in the Young Lawyer’s Division Estate Planning Project in partnership with Atlanta Legal Aid.
A native of Clemson, South Carolina, James earned an Economics degree from Clemson University. While at the University of Georgia School of Law, he competed on and served as chair of the law school’s Mock Trial Team. James also prosecuted criminal cases, worked closely with legendary Professor Ronald L. Carlson to update his civil practice treatise on motions in limine, and participated as a Pupil in UGA Law’s Lumpkin Inn of Court where he gained insights from some of Georgia’s finest trial lawyers while in law school.
