James M. Roth

Attorney James M. Roth is the managing partner at The Roth Firm with locations in Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, serving plaintiff clients in Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee. Focusing on personal injury and wrongful death claims, Mr. Roth devotes his time and resources to helping those who suffered an injury or loss as the result of someone else's negligence or wrongdoing. In addition to handling claims resulting from car, truck and motorcycle accidents, he also handles civil litigation claims involving unsafe working conditions, premises liability accidents, bad faith insurance disputes and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Roth delivers the compassionate, dependable legal assistance and support his clients deserve while working hard to protect their rights and best interests and secure their rightful restitution. Having served for years as a defense attorney for major insurance providers, Mr. Roth possesses a unique insight into the tactics insurance companies use to reduce or deny claims, enabling him to devise the most effective strategies possible. An Atlanta native, Mr. Roth graduated with honors from Valdosta State University in 1994. He then attended Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1999. In law school, Mr. Roth competed with the trial competition team and contributed to the school's legal publication. In 2000, the State Bar of Georgia admitted him to practice, and the Alabama State Bar Association admitted him in 2001. He founded his own private practice in 2006. A consummate professional, Mr. Roth is active in several local, state and national bar associations, including the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, among others. An accomplished author and speaker, he has published articles and conducted lectures on a variety of legal topics related to medical malpractice, business torts, insurance disputes and more.  In addition to his professional representation, Jim has lectured and presented seminars on complex discovery, witness interview, case preparation, Ride Share/Uber/Lyft liability and various other topics.
