Biography
Jan Pritchett brings decades of North Carolina criminal law experience to clients facing serious charges in Greensboro, Guilford County, and across the state. Before becoming a criminal defense attorney, Jan served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Guilford County District Attorney’s Office. That background gives him valuable insight into how prosecutors review evidence, evaluate charges, negotiate cases, and prepare for trial.
As a Board Certified Specialist in both State and Federal Criminal Law, Jan represents clients in a wide range of criminal defense matters, including felony charges, misdemeanor offenses, drug crimes, domestic violence allegations, probation violations, theft-related offenses, white collar crimes, weapons charges, sex crimes, expungement matters, and other serious criminal allegations.
His defense work also includes DWI and DUI charges and serious criminal traffic charges. These cases can affect far more than the immediate court date. A charge may put a person’s freedom, license, record, job, reputation, insurance rates, and future opportunities at risk.
When clients come to Schlosser & Pritchett early, Jan can begin reviewing the facts, identifying legal issues, preserving evidence, and helping the client avoid mistakes that may make the case harder to defend. Whether the issue involves an arrest, an investigation, a pending court date, or uncertainty about what may happen next, early legal guidance can make a meaningful difference in how the defense is developed.
When your life and future are on the line, Jan Pritchett gives you the best chance at earning the most positive outcome.
