Biography

Jason is a trial attorney licensed in every court in the State of Idaho, the U.S.District Court, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, theUnited States Appellate Court for the Federal District and the Shoshone-Bannock and Shoshone-Arapaho tribal courts. Jason is currently a part timejudge for the Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Courts. He has years of experience incriminal defense, property, landlord/tenant, Native American, personal injuryand family law. Jason has been appointed to the Idaho State Bar ProfessionalConduct Board and was an officer of the Sixth District Bar Association fromApril 2020 to April 2024. He has litigated, and been very successful, in state,federal, and Native American courts, and is experienced in both jury and courttrials. Jason is an Idaho native who received his undergraduate Bachelor of ArtsDegree in Spanish from Idaho State University. He is a fluent Spanishspeaker, reader, and writer. While attending Idaho State University, Jasonprovided simultaneous translation service for courts in Bannock, Bingham andPower Counties. He chose the University of Idaho College of Law as his lawschool and graduated in 2011 with an emphasis in Native American law. Heenjoys riding motorcycles, spending time with family and traveling to, andexperiencing, new places.
