These books were written in 2015 and included the clemency rules in place at the time. You should consult the current clemency rules on the Florida Commission on Offender Review website. **The Florida Department of Corrections has banned How to Leave Prison Early book because it contains identifying information about current inmates. If a state inmate orders it, the prison will not accept delivery and return the book to sender.
“I just read your book … and I am impressed. You gave a clear and concise explanation of clemency that was quite helpful.”
As Florida’s premier expert on early inmate release, attorney Reggie Garcia, has written this much needed easy to read book and excellent guide for his primary intended audiences the inmate, their families and supporters. A must read.
