Biography

Born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Attorney John Paul Marchan has nearly 20 years of experience practicing law and is a valued member of Walden, Neitzke & Taylor, S.C. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2006, he returned to his hometown to establish his legal practice, focusing on litigation with an emphasis on criminal defense and family law. JP is well known for his unwavering dedication to his clients and strong ties to the Waukesha community. John Paul defends individuals accused of crimes ranging from complex felony charges to simple misdemeanors. His dedication to his client’s rights has earned him numerous victories in both Waukesha and Milwaukee counties, including “Not Guilty” findings by multiple twelve-person juries. JP also compassionately guides clients through family law disputes and is regularly appointed by local judges to serve as a Guardian ad Litem as well as a mediator in family court. As an active member of the community, John Paul volunteers for several elementary and middle school sports teams and community boards. He is also a member of the Waukesha County Bar Association. JP sees the legal profession as another way of giving back to the people in his community, compassionately walking alongside them and guiding them through a difficult time in their lives. In his spare time, John Paul appreciates spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers.
