Biography
John S. Kommer has specialized in litigation including commercial, personal injury, Navigation Law (oil spill) and energy litigation for over 30 years and has extensive experience in commercial and corporate matters. Mr. Kommer represents a broad range of clients in such industries as construction, fashion, energy including fuel oil and natural gas, solid waste management, physicians, accountants, international businesses in Europe, Asia and South America and many other businesses located throughout the New York Metropolitan area. Amongst his pro bono activities is his service with Lions Club International both as Region and District Chairman for District 20R1 and President of the Lewisboro Lions Club. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Westchester County Bar Association and the New Rochelle Bar Association. Mr. Kommer is admitted to practice law in the New York State, the Southern District of New York, the Eastern District of New York, the District of Connecticut and the United States Court of Claims.
