Mr. West has also represented individuals in many noteworthy business, tort, civil rights, and appellate cases. For example, he represented a child injured when baseball star Vince Coleman detonated an explosive device in a stadium parking lot. He also represented a video photographer attacked by rock musician Tommy Lee. In another highly publicized case, Mr. West represented a female client who, during infertility treatments, had her eggs stolen, fertilized, and implanted into another woman.
