Biography

Managing Partner Jon J. Saia’s years of experience and knowledge of the law serve to ensure that every client accused of criminal offenses, traffic offenses, or operating a vehicle impaired (OVI) receives unparalleled legal representation. Mr. Saia has been recognized by Super Lawyers, a rating service that identifies the top 5% of lawyers in the nation, for over 15 consecutive years. His in-depth knowledge of field sobriety testing and breath alcohol testing instruments makes Mr. Saia uniquely equipped to defend clients accused of OVI. He is certified by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration as an instructor in the administration of standardized field sobriety tests. He is also certified by National Patent Analytical Systems, Inc., the manufacturer of the BAC Datamaster, in the operation, diagnostic verification, and calibration of the BAC Datamaster Breath Alcohol Testing Instruments. The BAC Datamaster is the most commonly used breath alcohol testing instrument in Ohio. Mr. Saia shares his knowledge through publications and seminar speaking engagements. He has written extensively for the Ohio State Bar’s “Law You Can Use,” an online column offered as a public service to Ohio residents. He is also often consulted by other lawyers and the media regarding certain legal issues relating to OVI, as well as criminal and traffic offenses.
