Jonathan Friel

Virginia Tech, B.S. Business Management, Summa Cum Laude, 2003. Assistant District Attorney, State of North Carolina, 31st District, 2007 – 2019. Lieutenant Colonel (2022- Present), U.S. Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corp, 2008 – Present. Jonathan is an honors graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and has been practicing law for over sixteen years.  Before entering private practice, he spent many years in public service. After over a decade serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Winston-Salem, Jonathan founded Friel Law in 2020.  As a long-time prosecutor he tried numerous jury trials in Superior Court on charges ranging from DWI to First Degree Murder.
