Biography

Attorney Jonathan J. Song was born in China and immigrated with his parents to the United States when he was 9 years old. Jonathan received his B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law where he graduated with honors. Jonathan is admitted to practice law in the following courts: Caleb is an independent contractor of Song Law and handles mostly criminal cases due to his experience as a former prosecutor for the 43rd Judicial District.  Caleb has been admitted to practice law in North Carolina since 2003.  Caleb is a native of Haywood County.  He obtained his college degree from Western Carolina University in 2000 and his juris doctorate from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law, University of Louisville in 2003.  When Caleb is not in court, Mr. Decker enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his three children. In addition to being admitted to practice law in state court, Caleb is also admitted to practice law in the Western District of North Carolina, federal court and with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, Tribal Court. Macey is a North Carolina Board Certified Paralegal who relocated from Indiana to attend Western Carolina University. She graduated with honors, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in criminal justice. Before joining our firm in 2025, Macey gained experience at the Jackson County Clerk of Court’s office.
