Biography
Shore Legal Access connects Eastern Shore individuals and families in need of legal representation with volunteer attorneys to ensure that justice truly is for all.
Local public transportation, to reach our offices, is available through Maryland Upper Shore Transit and Shore Transit.
Matt is a life long Marylander who went to Washington College in Chestertown and University of Maryland School of Law. In his free time, he likes to read and to pet as many different types of animals as possible. He is an aspiring bird watcher.
Julia Jester has settled back into life on her native Eastern Shore after completing her bachelor's and master's degrees in Sociology in Tampa, FL. She loves her dog, Rise Up iced lattes, live music, and trivia night. She dislikes ballpoint pens, blue cheese, John Mayer, and missing Oxford commas. Her favorite animal is a Greenland shark.
Emily Katherine (she/her) was born and raised in Maryland. She graduated from Salisbury University with a bachelor’s in philosophy and a minor in law, justice, and advocacy. Her studies cultivated a passion for ethical debates and motivated her to engage more deeply in social justice initiatives. When not in the office, Emily can be found tending to her plants, experimenting with new recipes, or planning her next vacation.
