Biography
Mr. White is the Managing Attorney and founder of The Opus Law Firm, where he specializes in commercial real estate and business transactions. With extensive experience across acquisitions, financing, development, leasing, corporate structuring, and investment transactions, he represents a broad range of clients, from startups to publicly-traded companies.
Before founding The Opus Law Firm in 2011, Mr. White served as in-house counsel for a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT), managing legal matters for life science, office, and industrial properties across the U.S. and Europe. His career began at the esteemed San Diego law firm Luce Forward Hamilton & Scripps (now Dentons).
Mr. White is a recognized thought leader in commercial real estate law, authoring and annually editing industry-standard CEB California legal practice guides on commercial leasing and speaking at national continuing legal education seminars.
Beyond law, he has a background in professional sports, having worked with the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Association of Volleyball Professionals. He continues to represent professional athletes in off-field ventures, including contract negotiations for television talent deals, sponsorship agreements, and private investments.
